This week, we venture to LaGrange, Ohio where a series of apocalyptic visions casts a layer of fear, neuroticism, and anxiety in the mind of a young husband and father in Jeff Nichols' 2011 US feature, Take Shelter. Bordering a near hallucinatory experience, we discuss the dynamics that fracture and fold between Curtis, his family, and the community that makes up their small, Midwestern town.
